About two hundred pupils of Graceful Oaks Nursery and Primary School, Ashi, Bodija had a memorable experience as they embarked on an excursion to the Broadcasting House of Radio Nigeria, Dugbe, Ibadan.
The pupils, who were exposed to various broadcast facilities in the corporation, were also given orientation on the technical and practical activities.
Some of the pupils including Ayoola Adigun, Rotimi Daniel, Blessing Akerele, and Karinantel Kemeke said the excursion had further broadened their intellectual horizon.
In an interview, the school’s administrator, Mrs Mariam Agila said the excursion was embarked upon as part of efforts to expose the pupils to additional knowledge in communication.
Mrs. Agila who said Radio Nigeria was chosen for the excursion in view of its gadgets and standard broadcast pattern, however appealed to parents and other school managers to encourage consistent exposure of pupils to the world outside their classroom to enable them make an informed career decisions.
