Residents of Ibadan have been advised to visit any registered optometric clinics in the state for free Glaucoma screening.
Chairman, Nigeria Optometric Association, Oyo State Chapter, Dr Ifeanyichukwu Uwadia gave the advice during a walk to create awareness about Glaucoma.
Dr Uwadia explained that Glaucoma is a sneak thief of sight which is why many people hardly know until great damage has been done to the eyes. He urged people, therefore, to go for a regular eye test for early detection.
