Senate Suspends Sitting over Coronavirus

The Senate has suspended all public hearing and schools excursion to the National Assembly.

The Senate President Ahmad Lawan said the Chamber gallery would also be closed to the public.

Rising from an executive session, the Senate President said these resolutions were taken as an additional measure to check the spread of COVID 19.
