Covid-19: Churches Keep off from Sunday Service, Some Flout Directive

Some worship centers in Ibadan complied with the government directive banning gathering that is more than ten while others refused to comply.

Radio Nigeria who monitored the situation at Ojoo, Agbowo, Mokola and Molete reports that some churches closed their doors and entrance gate while others with more than ten members gathered for worship in the areas visited.

In an interview, a cleric in charge of Region Eleven of the Gospel Faith Mission International, Pastor Ademola Akangbe said leadership of GOFAMINT had recommended house fellowship system of worship with members not more than ten

He called on Christians in the country to intensify their prayers to god for an urgent end to Covid 19.
