Two hundred and four newly passed-out recruit constables have resumed duty at Ogun State Police Command, Eleweran in Abeokuta.

According to a statement by the command spokesman, Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr.  Kenneth Ebrimson while receiving the new police recruits admonished them to be good ambassadors of the force whenever they are carrying out their duties.

He said the Commissioner of Police reminded them that every police officer is a public relations officer as their actions and inactions would be related to the force.

Mr. Oyeyemi also hinted that the Commissioner of Police cautioned them to desist from all from of corruption and extortion as those found wanting will be shown the way out of the force.
