Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde says one of the ways the state is holistically tackling Covid-19 is through mass testing.
This according to the governor was responsible for the increasing cases of Covid-19 in the state.
He stated this while featuring on a state television special programme as parts of activities marking his one year in office.
Governor Makinde who explained that the state has ten community testing centres urged people to contact emergency operation center if the need arises.
The governor while noting that donation to endowment fund on Covid-19 was over one billion naira, appreciated those who had contributed to the fund.
Governor Makinde advised people of the state to follow instructions on the coronavirus pandemic for the virus to be a thing of the past.
On agriculture, the governor affirmed that the state would drive its economy through the sector and hinted that the state would flag-off farm estates projects in a couple of weeks.
He noted that the projects would provide employment opportunities and boost food security in the state.
