The Management of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State has sent some of its workers on temporary break following the effect of the Covid-19 on the business.

According to letter issued by the management of the library and signed by Head of Human Resources, Administration and Procurement, Mrs Olanike Ogunleye the library claimed that the organisation was overwhelmed by the adverse effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The library management said it regrets to inform the workers that their employment will be put on hold till further notice from thirty-first of May, 2020.

The Managing Director of the library, Mr Vitalise Ortese, in a remark, said the decision was informed by the reality of the period.

He said the library did not sack the workers noting that it was clearly stated in their letter that it was temporary cessation.
