Police Parade Suspects for Rape of Teens, Physically Challenged in Osun

Nigeria Police, Osun State Command has paraded seven suspected rapists 

Parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters in Osogbo, the commissioner of police in the state, Mr Undie Andie said there was no hidden place for rapists in the state.

Mr Andie, who paraded a 50-year old man Adeleye Fayemiwo for having carnal knowledge of his 13-year-old daughter in Ibokun, said the suspect would face full wrath of the law.

The commissioner warned that police in the state would not condole any form of criminality, hence the need for residents to always operate within the armbit of the law.

Fayemiwo, who spoke in Yoruba, confessed to the crime, explaining that he committed the act under the influence of alcohol.

Other suspected rapists include Isiaka Adeyoumbo who allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl; Jacob Ayinla raped a 15-year-old girl under the pretence of buying pito drink from the girl; Oyerinde Oyeniyi was said to have raped an 11-year-old daughter of his landlord, while Afolabi Isiaka was alleged of defiling a seven-year-old girl

The police also arrested a man Eronse Balat for having carnal knowledge of a physically challenged lady.

Balat, while narrating his side of the story, said the 23-year old  physically challenged lady was his girlfriend and that intercourses between them was mutual.
