Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has commissioned the upgraded and refurbished Agbami Isolation Center, Jericho, Ibadan.
Speaking after the commissioning, Governor Makinde explained that the Agbami isolation centre’s rooms have been equipped with additional beds and fixed with concentrated oxygen.
The governor said that the Isolation Center would be used for high-end individuals who demanded privacy.
Governor Makinde further explained the state government has taken the opportunity of the Covid-19 pandemic to develop its health sector and fixed things that have gone wrong.
He implored anyone with Coronavirus symptoms to come forward and submit him or herself for the Covid-19 test saying the virus is not death sentence.
The governor lauded the health workers in the front line of the Covid-19 battle and promised them a better working condition.
