Ogun Begins Distribution of Land Use and Amenities Charge Bill

Ogun State Government is set to begin distribution of Land Use and Amenities Charge bill to property owners as part of the efforts to enhance revenue generation required for socio-economic development of the state.

The Commissioner for Finance and Chief Economic Adviser, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, who made this known in Abeokuta, explained that the distribution of the bills would be for owners of industrial, commercial and residential properties in all the nooks and crannies of the state. 

Mr. Okubadejo noted that the state government had further made payment of the Land Use and Amenities Charge very convenient for people, pointing out that payment could be made online using the government’s stipulated channels or at any commercial bank nationwide.

The commissioner enjoined the people of the state to comply with payment instructions, as non-compliance may result in sanctions being imposed on the affected properties in accordance with the provisions of the law.
