Senator Buruji Kashamu is Dead

Former Senator, representative of Ogun East senatorial district, Prince Buruji Kashamu has reportedly died of COVID-19 complications.

Senator Kashamu represented Ogun East senatorial district at the eighth National Assembly between 2015 and 2019.

The death of the 62 year old stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was first announced in a Facebook post by his former colleague, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.

Senator Murray-Bruce who described the deceased as a very close friend claimed that he died today at First Cardiology Consultants, Lagos

He prayed God to grant his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the heavy loss and give rest to his gentle soul.
