An Ibadan-born and oldest practicing surveyor in the country, Surveyor Lasisi Lasupo Ali is dead.

Surveyor L.L. Ali died early this morning at his Oke Odo residence in Ibadan at the age of 99.

A distinguished and highly respected community leader, Chief L. L. Alli was the founder of Ibadan Improvement Union, an indigenous socio-cultural organization established in 1958.

He was a dedicated surveyor, who had contributed to the growth of the profession and was renowned for high ethical standards and professional integrity. 

Family sources add that Surveyor L.L Alli will be buried today, Tuesday according to Islamic rite at his Oke Odo residence in Ibadan at 4pm.

Surveyor L.L. Ali who was born on August 16th, 1929 marked his 99th Birthday two weeks ago.
