Investment in critical infrastructure and human capital development have been described as major key to socio economic growth of Ekiti State.

Governor kayode Fayemi made this known during an inspection tour of some ongoing projects in Ado Ekiti.

He observed that government would invest in infrastructural development capable of reviving the economy of the state and improve the living standard of the people.

Governor Fayemi also made it clear that all abandoned projects across communities inherited by his administration in the state would be completed within specification.

Dr Fayemi stressed that government had put into consideration the planning process to pave the way for good roads, modern schools and urban development centers to further boost economic viability of the state.

He however expressed satisfaction with the level of work done so far by the contractor handling the projects.

The Ongoing Projects inspected by the Governor included the four model schools, Ureje water dam and Water treatment plant rehabilitation project.

Others are, JMK Rice Mill at Odo Ado Fajuyi water dam, Ado-Iyin road project, completion of Secretariat complex phase V and the Civic centre, all in Ado Ekiti.

Some of the projects are expected to be delivered by the 30th of September.
