Osun state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola says Infrastructure development is a core component of his administration development Agenda.
Governor Oyetola who was speaking at the inauguration of Igbajo/Ada road construction said the road was central to the tourism and hospitality potential of the state.
While emphasizing that government would never compromise quality, the governor urged the contractor to stick to specifications in the construction of the road and deliver it at record time.
He urged the people to take advantage of the road when completed to embark on meaningful agricultural, trading and entrepreneurial efforts for personal development.
Some indigenes of the town including the State Chairman of APC, Prince Gboyega Famodun, Commissioner for Commerce, Doctor Bode Olaonipekun and also a former commissioner for Communication and Strategy, Mr Sunday Akere said the road would bring a new lease of life to the ancient community.
The first construction of the road was done under the old Western Nigeria by the then Premier, the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo in the mid-50s and was re-constructed in 1987-1988 by the military government of the Old Oyo State.
