Political Leaders in the country have been told to work harder to achieve peaceful coexistence among Nigerians by not being partial.
The South West coordinator of a nongovernmental body, Aviary Association Worldwide, Mr. Bukola Fabunmi, made the call in Abeokuta at a news conference to mark the 2020 International Peace Day.
Mr. Fabunmi explained that COVID-19 pandemic had affected the source of livelihoods of many Nigerians hence the need to assist the less privileged.
The group also called on all Nigerian to embrace peace.
The theme of the 2020 international Peace Day celebration is Shaping Peace Together.
