Two Dead, Six Injured in Accident on Sango-Abeokuta Road

An accident involving a yellow commercial bus has claimed the lives of two passengers injuring six others at Awowo on Sango-Abeokuta express road.

Those injured including the driver were taken to Ijaiye General Hospital, Abeokuta.

According to witnesses the bus has been taken to Itori Divisional Police Station.

Some residents of the area, while reacting to the lone accident, attributed the crash to excessive speeding.

Road traffic officials have continued to warn motorists to desist from flouting speed limits.

They also cautioned motorists to be comply with regulations along the corridors where constructions are on-going.
