Nigeria is set to reopen all her land borders for normal business activities.
The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed disclosed this in Abuja, during the 26th Nigeria Economic Summit, NES #26 tagged ‘ the Path to Recovery’.
Mrs. Zainab Ahmed explained that an inter-ministerial committee was set up, an assessment made and an agreement was reached that the borders be reopened.
The Minister said it was based on the commitments with neighbouring countries, all sides of the divide had lent their lessons and a date for the border reopening would be decided by President Muhammadu Buhari.
