Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has been conferred with the Institute of Directors Fellowship award.

Receiving the award at a ceremony held in Lagos, Governor Abiodun called on the Institute of Directors IOD to partner his administration in training Civil servants in the state towards entrenching good governance in Public service.

While pointing out that despite COVID 19 pandemic, the institute was creative and active, the Governor described the fellowship award  as a call to high duties and more responsibilities.

Governor Abiodun also said that the conferment of the award was another platform for him to learn, adding that willingness to learn was most important quality of a leader.

While urging Nigerians to celebrate Yuletide responsively towards curbing the spread of COVID-19, Governor Abiodun gave the assurance that his administration would continue to give priority to peoples’ welfare and wellbeing.

Earlier, the President of the Institute of Directors, Chief Chris Okunowo said the institute was committed to promote corporate governance and enhance economy for business development in the country.
