Christian worshipers in Ibadan took their time to intercede for Nigeria and its leaders in the New Year service attended by gorgeously dressed members

Radio Nigeria correspondent, who monitored the situation reports that the worshippers, who appreciated God for witnessing first Sunday of the year, also prayed for an end to corona virus pandemic to avoid a repeat of 2020 socio economic crises.

 In an interview, the Presbyter, Methodist Church Nigeria, Bodija, The Very Reverend Ebenezer Oluwatoba called on government to administer justice and restructure the country in order to realize the desired development.

He also advised government to urgently put an end the security crises affecting the country.

Speaking in the same vein, the pastor in charge of the Gospel Faith Mission International, Solution Arena, Agbowo, Ibadan Pastor Daniel Jimoh, enjoined government to be responsive to the need of the masses to ensure relative peace in the country.

Pastor Jimoh also stressed the need for Christians in the country to eschew evil and rededicate themselves to God in the New Year

In a sermon, the cleric in charge of Mountain of Grace and Victory Ministry, Felele, Ibadan, Pastor John Goody urged Christians to imbibe the habit of giving to mankind in 2021 for greater breakthrough.
