The Executive Director, Engineering Services, Ogun Oshun River Basin Development Authority, OORBDA, Mr Babalola Olatunji has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director of Abeokuta Headquarters of the establishment.
His appointment followed the successful completion of the four-year tenure of Mr Olufemi Odumosu as the Managing Director of the Agency.
Speaking at the formal handover ceremony held at the Alabata Headquarters office of the body, the former Managing Director, Mr Odumosu thanked President Muhammadu Buhari and the Minister of Water Resources, Mr Suleiman Adamu, for the opportunity to serve the nation.
He encouraged the acting Managing Director to build on the achievements he recorded during his four-year tenure especially in sustaining the harmonious relationship with the workers of agency.
Mr Odumosu explained that the emergence of Mr Olatunji as the Acting Managing director of the establishment was in compliance with the directive of the Minister of Water Resources.
Responding, the acting Managing Director of OORBDA, Mr Babalola Olatunji promised to work assiduously to take the authority to greater heights and solicited the cooperation of the management and staff towards achieving the set goals.
