The Minister for Mines and Steel Development Alhaji Olamilekan Adegbite has advised beneficiaries of the Federal government Special Public Works to discharge their duties in line with the dictates of the scheme.
The minister gave the advice in Abeokuta while speaking with the representatives of the beneficiaries from the twenty local government areas of the state at the launch of the scheme.
The Minister appealed to the beneficiaries to continue to have faith in the current administration to deliver on its electoral promises noting that the programme was one of the palliatives designed by the federal government to cushion the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun represented by the Deputy Governor, Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele stated that the state government would continue to complement the efforts of the federal government in the state by providing more jobs for the youths.
