The Director-General, National Orientation Agency, NOA, Dr Garba Abari has approved the appointment of Mr Moshood Olaleye, as the Acting Director of NOA Oyo State Directorate.

Mr Olaleye succeeds Mrs Dolapo Dosumu who retired on January 27, 2021.

Born on April 22 1961 to Late Alhaji and Alhaja Salawu Olaleye of Ogundeji compound Oke Ofa Atipe, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The new NOA Oyo boss is a seasoned administrator with over 30 years public service experience.

Mr Olaleye holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ife.

In addition he has successfully participated in several in-service trainings, workshops and seminars.

His career in NOA began in 1988 as a Social Mobilisation Officer.

He served as Head of NOA Oyo Servicom Unit between 2008 and 2010, then served as Assistant Director Planning, Research and Strategy, NOA Oyo from 2014-2015.

Olaleye also served as Assistant Director Programmes from 2010-2014.

He was also the Deputy Director and Head of Programmes until his appointment as Acting State Director of NOA Oyo on January 27, 2021.

A goal-getter, focused, steadfast and passionate about the NOA task of “Moving Nigeria to Greatness”.

No sooner has the appointment been ratified, that Mr Olaleye came up with blueprints of his programs to be accorded priority attention, these include, finding permanent cessation to the twain problems of COVID-19 pandemic and the lingering security challenges in the state.
