Eighteen thousand residents of Ondo State have benefited from the ongoing extended Special Public Works, SPW Programme.

Represented by the Deputy Director, Small Scale Enterprise, NDE headquarters, Mrs Funmilayo Kila, Mallam Fikpo described the development as a way of addressing hardship associated with Covid-19 pandemic
Earlier, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations, Mrs Olubunmi Ademosu enjoined each participant, entitled to sixty thousand naira payment to utilize the stipend judiciously.
Appreciating the Federal Government for the opportunity, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu said the beneficiaries would be deployed to traffic control, clearing of drainage, potholes filling among other environmental jobs.
