Government Parastatals and Agencies have been enjoined to embrace inter-agency arrangements to enhance effective delivery of their mandates.

Resident Electoral Commissioner, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Oyo State, Mr. Mutiu Agboke gave the advice in Ibadan while receiving an ex-corps member who served with the commission, Miss Adetutu Seriki, a recent Presidential NYSC Award Winner.

Mr. Agboke explained that Parastatals and Agencies cannot operate in isolation without working in partnership with other government establishment to make their work go smoothly.

He lauded INEC and NYSC collaboration in the conduct of general elections, the synergy which he described as catalyst for the attainment of free and fair polls in Nigeria.

While attesting to the awardee’s good character and disposition during her one year national mandatory service at INEC state headquarter in Ibadan, Mr Agboke who was highly elated, admonished the Awardee to serve as role model to other youths.

Head of Department, Computer Science , Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abéòkúta, the school where Miss Adetutu Seriki graduated from, Mrs Misturah Alaran said the presidential NYSC award winner had made the the Polytechnic proud.

In an address, Representative of NYSC in Oyo state Mr. Samuel Afọlábí, an admin officer, expressed happiness that the camp orientation exercise had yielded positively.

The awardee, an indigene of Ikole Ekiti, in Ekiti state, who could not hide her joy thanked the INEC boss and other members of staff in Oyo state for helping her dream when she discovered the location of her community service projects while on election assignment with the commission.

Some of The community service projects that earned Miss Adetutu Seriki the Presidential NYSC Award included reconstruction of a collapsed fence, digging of Modern deep well and provision of uniforms and sanders for pupils of IMG primary school pupils at Alakia Oje Elewe in Ibadan North East Local Government Area of Oyo state.
