FRCN Inaugurates Committee On Kids Football Challenge

The committee on the maiden edition of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria Ibadan Zonal station Kids Football Challenge among Secondary Schools in Oyo state has been inaugurated.

While performing the inauguration held at studio One of the Corporation, Acting Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan, Mrs Bolanle Owoyemi enjoined the members of the committee to work as a team to ensure a successful tournament.

Mrs Owoyemi said the competition was initiated to discover football talents.

She urged the committee to carry all stakeholders along in the plans for the competition and put into consideration COVID 19 protocols.Responding, the Chairman of the Committee, and Assistant Director Marketing, FRCN Ibadan, Mr. Wale Afinjuomo said that the kids football challenge would be held for under thirteen children in junior secondary schools in Oyo state.

Mr. Afinjuomo added that the competition would be organised in accordance with FIFA rules guiding football
