A group of taxi drivers in the Federal Capital Territory this morning gathered at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja to protest alleged harassment and collection of illegal levies by officials of the Vehicle Inspection Office, VIO.
The Taxi drivers gathered in large numbers to protest against unlawful charges causing gridlock along the road.
Report says union leaders were stopping other Taxi drivers and forcing passengers to alight while drivers were being compelled to join in the protest.
