Hold Your Council Chairman Accountable For Every Decision- Gov. Abiodun

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has sworn in twenty newly elected Local Government Chairmen in the state with a call on them to be creative in boosting their internally generated revenue, IGR.
Speaking at the ceremony held at Arcade Ground, Oke Mosan Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun also advised the chairmen not to over burden the people in their quest to raise funds to enhance development of their local government areas.
The Governor who promised that his administration would continue to support the local government council in the state, also expressed commitment to formulating and implementing peoples friendly policies and programmes.
Governor Abiodun urged people of the state, particularly those at the grassroots to hold their council chairmen accountable for every decision taken on their behalf.
Earlier, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle urged the newly elected Chairmen to justify the confidence reposed in them by performing their duties diligently.
