Ogun State House of Assembly through its Committee on Works and Infrastructure has challenged contractors handling road projects in the State to speed up the pace of construction to ease human and vehicular movements across the State.

This is just as the Committee commended the development projects being executed by Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration across the three Senatorial districts of the State.

The House Committee led by Mr Abayomi Fasuwa, made the appraisal, while inspecting road projects under construction at Obantoko, Olomore, Adigbe and Lafenwa-Rounder areas of the State capital to round off assessment of road projects in the State.

Mr Fasuwa said that the projects would have positive impacts on the socio-economic lives of the people, while on site at the ongoing construction of Adigbe- Opako road, he noted that all the projects were in line with the demands of the people of the State.

The Committee Chairman clarified that the purpose of the invitation extended to some of the contractors was to unravel whatever challenges they might be facing, so as to find a workable solution and get them back on site, assuring the people that no projects would be abandoned.
