Private school proprietors ought to complement government’s efforts by scouting for scholarships for the less-privileged pupils in their various schools.

The Proprietor, Lofty Academy School, Iyana Agbala, New-Ife Road, Ibadan, Pastor Olumuyiwa Abidemi, gave this charge at the Graduation Ceremony/End of the Year Party of the school on Saturday.

Pastor Abidemi said this will go a long way in ensuring that the academic dreams and aspirations of such less-privileged students come to pass.

He explained that the school with the help of well-meaning Nigerians including those in the diaspora, have secured scholarships for over twenty pupils of the school.

Pastor Abidemi also the urged the current crop of graduands to be good ambassadors of the school everywhere they go.

In an interview with Radio Nigeria, many of the graduands could not hide their joy and they gave thanks to the God and the management of the school for all that was done for them.

Some parents on their part said it was high time every parent complement government’s effort by instilling sound morals in children.

The program featured drama, choreography and project presentation by the Jet Club of the school. Lilian Ibomor
