Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has called on politicians to mobilize their supporters tom obtain their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, so as to be eligible to participate in future elections.

INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, in Oyo State, Barrister Mitiu Agboke made the call at a public function in Ibadan.

Mr. Agboke, who hinted that over 700,000 PVCs were yet to be collected in Oyo State, urged politicians to complement the efforts of the commission at sensitizing the public on the need to register and obtain theirPVCs.

The Oyo State INEC REC, also said that the state has over 6,000 polling units, following the recently conducted delineation exercise held across the country.

Mr. Agboke expressed the continued commitment of INEC to its mandate of conducting a free, fair and credible election process in Nigeria.
