Ogun State government has commenced evacuation of students and youth corps members who are indigenes of the state from the crisis-ridden Jos, Plateau State capital.

According to the President of the National Association of Ogun State Students, NAOS, Comrade Gbemileke Ogunrombi while speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta, the government has done well to respond to the “Save Our Souls” message of the association as regards the crisis.

Comrade Ogunrombi explained that the state government had sent five buses to evacuate about eighty indigenes of the state.

He as well thanked the Special Assistant to the Governor on Students’ Matters, Mr. Adeyemi Azeez for the role played at ensuring safety of students and corps members in Jos, Plateau state since the outbreak of crisis.
