Education along with entrepreneurial training should be optimally maximized to address unemployment in the country. 

A guest lecturer, Pastor Muyiwa Bamigbose stated this at the 2021 World Entrepreneurship Day Maiden Lecture organized by University of Ibadan Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation held at Otunba Subomi Hall, Conference Centre, Pastor Bamigbose described education and entrepreneurship as inseparable.

He explained that integration of knowledge and skills acquisition is the norm in a developed economy such as the United Kingdom where classes go hand in hand with apprenticeship.

Pastor Bamigbose said Federal Government initiative of giving money to unemployed graduates to start businesses was an index of entrepreneurial development in the country. 

In a goodwill message, Professor Victor Oladokun who represented Dean of Business School, University of Ibadan, said the institution was already treading the path as stakeholders in industries are being integrated into scheme of learning to engender entrepreneurial skills in students. 

Highlight of the events was the presentation of gift to the guest speaker. 

In attendance were Director of Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Professor Oyedunni Arulogun, Provost School of Post Graduate Studies, Professor Oyebamiji Babalola.
