As part of efforts to check the spread of Malaria, the Ogun State Government through the Ministry of Health will begin the distribution of insecticides treatment nets from tomorrow, August 26th, 2021.
The Malaria Programme Manager at the Ogun State Ministry of Health, Mrs. Olamide Adeyinka made this known while featuring on a Paramount FM, Abeokuta programme.
Mrs. Adeyinka said arrangements have been completed to ensure that every home in the state have access to the nets.
On her parts, the Programme Campaign Manager, Mrs. Mopelola Raji advised the people to make proper use of the nets and always keep them save to prevent it from frequent damages.
Mrs. Raji appealed to residents to submit accurate number of occupants in each house to ensure even distribution of the insecticide treated nets.
She stressed that the distribution had been designed on the estimated number of people per house.
