Two female children of the same parent have been killed by lightning strike at Ikirun the headquarters of Ifelodun local government area of Osun State.
According to report, the incident occurred around 4:30 PM on Sunday around the Ogo-Oluwa area of the community.
A resident named Mary Ojuolape told our correspondent that the incident occurred as the two young ladies were crossing a football pitch of a school in the area.
Another resident named Dayo said, there was a great crowd that gathered around the corpse of the two siblings.
The names of the two sisters are still unknown as at the time of filing this report.
