Justice Mashud Abbas of the Oyo State High Court 2 has described the response of a police sergeant, Mr. Innocent Heede, in a case of robbery as being incoherent.

Justice Mashud Abbas said this during continuation of hearing on accusation of robbery levelled against nine persons during the Endsars protest.

He frowned at the response of sergeant Heede, the Ipo in charge of the case and the first witness, during interrogation by the prosecutor, Sandra Tella.

Justice Abbas said thorough examination of the case against the suspects was essential before passing judgement.

He therefore adjourned the case till September 10, 2021 for continuation of hearing.

Those charged are Adesina Ademuyiwa, Ikechukwu Ese, Ariyo Sodiq, Ikenna Amaechi, Oyewole Olumide, Ariyo Afeez, Taoreed abiodun, Lowoori Ajadi, Sikiru Lukman, Adekunle Maroof and Rasheed Tiamiyu.
