Ogun State Government has pulled down a dilapidated block of classrooms at Nazareth High School, Imeko, in Imeko Afon Local Government Area of the state. 

Parts of the building had recently collapsed on a group of students killing one, while two others were injured. 

According to a statement in Abeokuta, Governor Dapo Abiodun who directed that the building should be pulled down has also ordered the immediate reconstruction of the demolished block of classrooms.

The Governor also emphasized that all identified dilapidated structures, particularly public buildings like schools, hospitals and health facilities should be tested for structural integrity test and buildings that failed the test should be pulled down and rebuilt.

He emphasized that private structures or schools found to be dilapidated would also be pulled down in line with the State Building Control Regulations and global standard practices.
