The Nigeria Police Force, Oyo State Command have arrested two men in possession of a human head.
The duo of Ismaila Wasiu and Mutairu Shittu was arrested at Ayekale Area of Saki, for being in possession of a fresh human head of a lady.
The suspects were nabbed following a tip-off from some members of the public which made officers of Saki Divisional Police Headquarters immediately swing into action.
They recovered a fresh human head and the dismembered body of the victim who was later identified as Mujidat.
A release signed by the police public relations officer, Adewale Osifeso indicates that a Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was lured from Lagos through a phone call by Ismaila Wasiu before the perpetration of the dastardly act.
The dismembered body has been deposited at the morgue, while intensive investigations regarding the incident is still ongoing.
The release adds that Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, Ngozi Onadeko urges all law-abiding people of the State to give their unwavering cooperation towards the rendition of timely and actionable information capable of fueling the Command’s crusade against crime and criminality in the State.
