Culture and religion remain two inseparable factors that shapen human existence and must not be neglected by leaders in the country.

Provost Kingdom Life University Florida US, Professor Olufemi Lawal stated this at the 2021 International conference, convocation and inauguration of National Executive Council of Institute of Certificate Church Mediator and Administration, ICMA, held at the institute of church and Society, Samonda Ibadan.

Professor Lawal explained that a better understanding of the religious beliefs, as well as, culture of their subordinates, would go a long way to help leaders effectively manage conflicts in their domains.

Special guest of honour on the occasion, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, who was represented by the Special Adviser on community relations, Mr Olufemi Josiah, pointed out that if the church could remain steadfast in instilling good morals in their members, the nation’s political circle would be better positioned.

One of the convocating student, who bagged a PhD in digital communication and missions Engineer Ajibola Abiola appreciated God for the grace to complete his course.

Engineer Abiola, who was a former Director of National Broadcast Academy, Lagos, promised to use the knowledge acquired during his course to positively impact the society.

Earlier, the International President of the ICMA, Professor George Adegbolagun said the main objective of the institute was to provide multidimensional approach to church conflict resolution.
