No fewer than fifty nine eminent Nigerians including The Diocesan Bishop and Archbishop of Ibadan Province, The Most Reverend Dr Segun Okubadejo and the Ondo state governor have been honoured with different awards for their immense contributions to the growth and development of the Diocese of Ibadan North Anglican church.
The event which marked the 8th Diocesan Gleaners’ Harvest Thanksgiving service was held at the Cathedral of Saint Peters, Aremo, Ibadan.
Addressing the congregation, The Diocesan Bishop and Archbishop of Ibadan Province, The Most Reverend Dr Segun Okubadejo commended the awardees for their selfless service to humanity and the church.
The Most Reverend Dr Okubadejo urged christians to continue to pray for peace and security in Nigeria.

The Retired Bishop of Ijesha North Diiocese , The Most Reverend Dr Titus Fajemirokun said christians must imbibe the habit of appreciating God whom he said his the source of human wealth.
Some of the award recipients including a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Akin Olujinmi, Chief Olugnemiga Aborissade, Ayotunde Fagbemi and wife of the former Director of News, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Mrs Iyabo Afolabi said christians should give to the expansion of God’s kingdom without wavering.
