The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, this morning joins his ancestor at the age of 93.
He died at the University college hospital, UCH and at 1a.m.
our correspondent who is currently at his place reports that sympathisers, wives and relations of the monarch were lamenting his passage.
In an interview, the personal assistant to the Monarch on media, Mr Adeola Oloko said arrangement were being made to bury the monarch at 4p.m in a muslim way.
Mr Oloko said the monarch died after a brief illness.
