The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station would continue to partner public and private establishments so as to move the station to an enviable position.
The Zonal Director, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, Mrs Bolatito Joseph stated this during a courtesy by the management of Yemi Sonde Media Group to the management of Radio Nigeria, Ibadan Zonal Station, at the Broadcasting House, Oba Adebimpe Road, Dugbe.
The ZD who said the visit by the management of Yemi Sonde Media Group to Radio Nigeria, Dugbe, was a homecoming explained that Yemi Sonde had displayed professionalism in broadcasting through a series of programmes he anchored on the station, hence, the readiness of Radio Nigeria to collaborate to sustain excellence in the broadcast industry.
Mrs Joseph commended Mr Sonde for building and empowering the people around him.
Earlier, the Group Managing Director, Yemi Sonde Media Group, Mr Yemi Sonde attributed his success to the impact of Radio Nigeria in his formative years as a young broadcaster.
Mr Sonde said the visit was meant to also intimate management of station of the new established YES FM and YES Television in the state, adding that the collaboration became necessary in view of professionalism that Radio Nigeria is known for in the comity of media outfits in the country.
