The National Orientation Agency, NOA, wants Nigerians to patronize locally made goods to promote the revival of local manufacturing industries and create employment opportunities for teeming Nigerian youths.

Ogun State Director of the Agency, Mr Kolawole Obadina made the call while speaking with Radio Nigeria in Abeokuta

Mr Obadina said the nation and her citizens had a lot to gain if the people would ensure adequate patronage of goods and services produced in the country.

He explained that the Agency was promoting the theme “Change begins with me, patronize made in Nigeria products and services” to promote attitudinal change and draw attention to the fact that Nigerian products and services could compete favourably with others around the world.

The Ogun State NOA Director encouraged Nigerians to believe in themselves and support the campaign to boost the establishment of industries, and empower local entrepreneurs while also increasing foreign exchange earnings and the Gross Domestic Products.

Mr Obadina expressed optimism that the country’s economy would receive a major boost if Nigerians support products made in the country, noting that the agency would continue to sensitize Nigerians on the benefits of patriotism and love for the nation.
