The National Orientation Agency, NOA, Oyo State has solicited the support of traditional institution in Ibadan to reorient residents on patronizing locally made products.

Oyo State Director, NOA, Mr Kayode Odedokun made this plea during a familiarization visit to the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Balogun.

Mr Odedokun appealed to the Olubadan to use his position as a first class monarch to assist the agency in propagating locally made goods to salvage the country currency from total collapse.

The director who noted that the country’s economy is nose-diving due to the increased demand for foreign commodities to the detriment of locally made ones, said there must be a positive reorientation at all levels.

The director while congratulating the new monarch on his coronation as the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan land, commiserated with the monarch on the demise of the Alaafin of Oyo kingdom.

Receiving the new director and his team at the palace, on behalf of Olubadan, Baale Kalemore, Alhaji Bashiru Balogun lauded the Orientation Agency and urged them not to relent on their oars.
