Muslims on Monday converged on Ajipowo/Customs Junction, Ondo Road in Akure to observe a two-rakat prayer to mark this year’s Eld-el-fitri celebration.

Leading the special Eid prayer, the Chief Imam of Ajipowo-Akure, Sheikh Moshood Hasbunallahi prayed for peaceful co-existence and economic prosperity for the country.

Imam Hasbunallahi cautioned Muslims against abandoning good deeds they practiced during the just concluded Ramadan.

The Islamic Scholar also advised faithful not to celebrate Salah with what things forbidden by Almighty Allah, saying giving alms and Zakat to the less-privileged were compulsory for those who observed the Ramadan.
