First Batch of Ogun Pilgrims Arrive Saudi Arabia

Four hundred intending pilgrims from Ogun State have arrived at Medinah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to perform the 2022 Hajj exercise.

The Director of Administration and Supplies, Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Ajibola Taiwo confirmed the arrival of the pilgrims to Radio Nigeria.

Alhaji Taiwo said the first batch of the intending pilgrims which comprises 169 Males and 231 females arrived safely at the holy land of Medinah.

He assured that officials of the Board had made necessary arrangements to provide adequate welfare for the pilgrims, adding that the second batch would be airlifted in due course.
