The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Oyo State says it has deployed additional machines to pressure areas to ensure all eligible Nigerians are registered in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration, CVR.

Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC in the state, Dr Mutiu Agboke made this known in a statement in Ibadan.

Dr Agboke confirmed that the last quarter of the CVR was extended till further notice to allow the commission provides electoral services to all voters.

He urged all eligible Nigerians, especially those who have just attained the age of eighteen years, to avail themselves of the period to get registered in order to exercise their civic responsibility.

Dr Agboke also advised people who lost their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, or damaged cards or wish to transfer voting from one place to another to visit: www.cvr.inecnigeria.org, while appealing to people to desist from multiple registrations, as such act is punishable under the law.
