The Archbishop of Abeokuta/Ogun Province Diocesan of the African Church, The Most Reverend Solomon Ojumu has encouraged Christians to make Jesus Christ their central focus.

The Most Reverend Ojumu, who made the plea in a sermon at the funeral service of late Mrs. Eunice Ramat Folarin in Abeokuta, noted that the grace of God through Jesus Christ would ensure eternal rest for the faithful. 

In a sermon titled “the latter end” The Most Reverend Ojumu pointed out that the latter end was vital in human existence, hence the need for people to plan and work hard to finish well. 

Paying glowing tribute to the Late Mrs Folarin, the cleric described her as a devout Christian, kind-hearted who contributed immensely to the growth of evangelism.

In an interview with newsmen, the children of the deceased, including a member of staff of Radio Nigeria Paramount FM, Abeokuta, Mr Olusegun Folarin described their mother as a woman of peace whose love and care for people transcended blood relationships. 

Aged 83, the Late Mrs Eunice Ramat Folarin popularly known as Iya Laala is survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
