Nigerian Air Force, NAF, pledges continuous support for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, to collectively secure and protect the lives and property of the citizens.

Air Commodore Nasir Folaji of the Nigerian Air Force, 671 Detachment Ibadan, made the pledge during a courtesy visit to the state Command of NSCDC at Agodi Ibadan.

He noted that the security of Oyo State can only be achieved through persistent cooperation between the two organizations as it is done in the past.

“Security of the Nation is the duty of all security operatives, therefore there should be a synergy of efforts between the two security agencies”.

Reacting, the Oyo State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Mr. Micheal Adaralewa noted that the era of inter-agency rivalry was over, as securing the lives and properties of the people of Oyo state and the nation at large was the common goal.

Mr. Adaralewa stated further that the corps has improved in its activities through investment in training and retraining exercise implemented by the Commandant General of the Corps, Mr Abubakar Audi.

The Commandant stressed further that the Corps would continue to work hand-in-hand with the Nigerian Air Force when necessary as the security of lives and properties was a joint venture for all security agencies and the citizens.
