The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, So-Safe Corps, has arrested one Timileyin Abayomi at Ilashe in Ipokia Local Government Area, for allegedly stealing a motorcycle.
A statement by the Corps’ Director of Information and Public Relations Officer, Mr Moruf Yusuf said that the suspect broke into the Compound of one Taiwo Joseph in ldaba, llashe, and went straight to the kitchen to steal the motorcycle.
The statement indicated that the Corps Patrol Team in Idiroko were alerted about the incident which led to the arrest of the suspect while trying to escape.
According to the statement, the suspect ran into a neighbour’s compound, broke the ceiling, entered through it, and then jumped into a room, where he was eventually arrested.
It said that the suspect and the recovered motorcycle had been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Idiroko Divisional Headquarters for further investigation.
