The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Oyo State is to begin the display of the preliminary Register of Voters, PRC, across the state.
In a statement by Oyo state INEC Administrative Secretary, Biodun Onikate Amosu, the exercise was in line with the electoral act 2022 and in preparations towards the forthcoming 2023 general election.
It says that the exercise would begin tomorrow, Saturday 12th November, 2022 at the registration areas across the state and ends on Friday 18th November, 2022.
The statement notes that the exercise in the thirty-three INEC local government offices will begin on Saturday 19th November and is expected to end on Friday 25th November 2022, from 9 am to 3 pm daily.
It however explains that the display exercise will be for all eligible registrants that have been captured on the commission’s database till date
